She is attending a college in the South; furthermore, her roommate is an outspoken agnostic girl named Jen. Jen is more open, and Angela can accept Jen due to her religious views; furthermore, Angela finds Jen immoral. Angela develops an infection that keeps her bedridden and unable to attend classes.
